TMM Tracking Money Movement
Free while we are in early access

Every dollar, traced back to
the statement it came from.

Upload your bank, card, paystub, mortgage and 401(k) statements. TMM reads them, works out what each movement actually was, and shows you where the money went — with every figure clicking through to the transactions behind it.

A transfer between your own accounts is in the list but not in the total — it is not spending, and TMM knows that.

Ask in your own words. It answers from your own figures, and says so plainly when it cannot read a question.

A paycheck split across banks cannot be checked by eye. Every payslip is matched to the deposits it produced.

What it does

Open any of them for the detail.

Bank, credit card, paystub, mortgage, brokerage, 401(k) and crypto PDFs — whatever format your institution uses. Each import is checked against the totals the document itself prints, so you know when something did not come through.

beginning $4,131.41 + movements = ending $5,276.41 ✓

Spending, a transfer between your own accounts, a card payment, a loan repayment, an investment, a reimbursement, a wager. Only real outlays count as spending, which is why the totals mean something.

$40,300 mortgage paydown → equity, not spending
$700 card payment → your own money moving

Click any total, anywhere, and you get exactly the rows it was worked out from with the filters already applied. If a number looks wrong you can see why in one click instead of taking it on trust.

Import an expense export and each claim is matched to the actual charge on your card — same amount and merchant first, then near amounts, then one claim covering several charges. Reimbursed spending stops counting as yours.

→ Hilton $1,479.54 charged in June · matched

If your paycheck is split across several banks, TMM matches every payslip to the deposits it produced, account by account, and tells you when one is short — and whether the reason is a missing deposit or just a statement you have not downloaded.

A run of charges away from home becomes a trip with its own total, net of anything work paid back. Rename, merge or split them; a bank describing its own plumbing never becomes a holiday.

A month against the month before, a year against the same span last year, and an all-time view by detailed category with a per-month average over the months that have actually elapsed.

Monthly ceilings on the categories you can actually change — never on a mortgage — with the pace shown so a month half over is not called a failure. Goals are the other half: an amount to save or to pay down, ordered as a funnel.

Bank balances, investments, house equity and crypto against what you owe. The mortgage is counted once — inside the equity — not twice.

“What did I spend in July 2020?” “How much at Wegmans last year?” “What was my biggest month?” Answered from your own figures, with the transactions one click away. Connect your own AI key if you want it to understand anything you can phrase.

Every subscription and standing bill, what it costs a month, when it last billed — and which ones quietly stopped, which is usually the more interesting list.

Your statements are yours

Every customer's data sits in its own separate database — not a shared table with a customer column somebody could forget to filter on. Your figures are never pooled with anyone else's, never sold, and never used to train models.

We never ask for your online banking credentials and we do not connect to your bank. You upload the same PDFs your bank already emails you, and you can delete all of it, at any time, from the settings page.
